House of Mari has a motivational philosophy that aims to ignite passion and enthusiasm in YOU. We provide an environment that encourages you to set and pursue goals, overcome challenges, gain self confidence, and continuously improve your skills. We create motivation from various sources, including supportive instructors, positive reinforcement, goal-setting, and a sense of achievement!

Activate:

House of Mari is passionate about the process of getting you physically , energetically and mentally activated. This involves proper holistic warm-ups, exercises, and activities designed to awaken your body & energy, increase flexibility, enhance technique and build strength. Our "activation" philosophy means encouraging you to be present, focused, and prepared for your dance practice, performance or career, and enjoying this process by feeling a part of a community.

Recreate:

House of Mari refers to both the act of creating new dance movements or choreography, as well as the concept of using dance as a form of recreation and stress relief. Dance can be a powerful outlet for self-expression, it involves interpretation and personalization,  allowing you as dancers to recreate emotions and stories through movement.

Inspire:

Inspiration is a fundamental element of the House of Mari. An inspiring dance environment aims to nurture connection, community, creativity and ignite a deep love for dance in its students. We use methods that involve providing positive stimuli, encouragement, and opportunities that spark imagination and drive, creating space for artistic growth and self-discovery. From collaborative experiences, where you work together, connect with self and fellow dancers, exchange ideas, work together within exercises creates a sense of community and shared creativity, inspiring you as dancers to learn from one another and collectively elevate their artistic expression.
